UPROOTING EVERY DEGENERATE PLANT IN YOUR LIFE

UPROOTING EVERY DEGENERATE PLANT IN YOUR LIFE

Then came His disciples, and said unto Him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying? But He answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up (Mathew 15:12-13)

This is true for Jesus Christ is the Truth

He is the only begotten Son of God (John 3:16)

He was in the beginning with God (John 1:2)

All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made (John 1:3)

As a result, He knows every plant which His heavenly Father has not planted

PLANT

P – Pleasures of Sin

Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season (Hebrews 11:25).

The pleasure of sin is for a season and sin is sin no matter what other name you call it. You can call adultery extra-marital affair but it remains adultery and God says, Thou shalt not commit adultery (Exodus 20:14),If you like call fornication having fun but the Scriptures warns you to flee fornication (1 Corinthians 6:18).If you are involved in Business email Compromise, advance fee fraud or romance scam it is nothing else than deception and  stealing  and it is written ,Thou shalt not steal (Exodus 20:15). You can call abortion terminating unwanted pregnancy but it is murder and God says, Thou shalt not kill (Exodus 20:13). The question you have to answer yourself is ……shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? (Micah 6:7b). The pleasure of sin is for a season for she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth (1 Timothy 5:6) for the person is dead in trespasses and sins (Ephesians 2:1) If you are wise you will consider your later end (Deuteronomy 32:29), eternity is real and begins after death. Why will you spend eternity?

Uprooting the Pleasures of Sin

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call His name Jesus: for He shall save His people from their sins (Mathew 1:22)

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16)

If you are not yet born again (John 3:3) then now is the acceptable time Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord (Acts 3:19)

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9)

For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ (John 1:17)

For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace (Romans 6:14)

L – Lust

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever (1 John 2:15-17)

Uprooting

The Lust of the Flesh

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God (Romans 12:1-2)

First confess your sins and forsake them then you shall obtain mercy (Proverbs 28:13) and by the mercies of God you present every part of your body from the crown of your head to the toe of your foot as a servant of righteousness (Romans 6:18)

The Lust of the Eyes

Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way (Psalm 117:37)

This God does by leading you in the path of righteousness for His name’s sake (Psalm 23:4) as His word becomes a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 109:105)

The Pride of Life

For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out (1 Timothy 6:7)

There is nothing to be proud of because as it written There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it (Ecclesiastes 8:8)

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment (Hebrews 9:27)

And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear (1 Peter 1:17)

Since you don’t have power in the day of death and will not carry nothing out when you are buried what is there to be proud of? What is the reason of for your pride?

A – Affliction

What do ye imagine against the LORD? He will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time (Nahum 1:9)

Affliction by the Wicked

But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour: And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour.  (Exodus 1:12-14)

The Cry

And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage (Exodus 2:23)

Uprooting

And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites .Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them (Exodus 3:7-9)

Just as God sent Prophet Moses to deliver the Israelites from bondage (Exodus 3:10) For it is written that For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people (Acts 3:22-23)

Jesus Christ is that prophet for as it is written Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities (Acts 3:26) again it is written And by a prophet the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved (Hosea 12:13) . Jesus Christ is the Only Begotten Son God (John 3:16) He is our Saviour, Sanctifier and soon coming King but He is also a Prophet (John 4:19) a Prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people (Luke 24:19)

Transgression and Iniquity

Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted (Psalm 107:17)

You are afflicted when you rebel against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High (Psalm 107:11)

When you repent and forsake your sins and return back to God you can now pray

Consider mine affliction, and deliver me: for I do not forget thy law (Psalm 119:153)

When you cry to God He will save you out of all your distresses (Psalm 107:13)

N- Naughtiness

Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls (James 1:22)

God sanctifiers the believer through His truth. His word is truth (John 17:17) It is written that In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1) and Jesus Christ the Word is the Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6) He is the Baptizer with the Holy Ghost and with fire (Mathew 3:11) and He says that If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them (John 13:17)

T- Terrible

Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? But thus saith the Lord, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children. And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the Lord am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob (Isaiah 49: 24-26)

God has promise to deliver you and also save your children therefore why not

Believe on Him

For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed (Romans 10:11)

Call on Him

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13)

If you are not yet born again why not surrender your life to Jesus today.
