21 May TOPIC: ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND ADORATION : PART 1: ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
As you read this message may the entrance of God’s word give you understanding, may it be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path and bring healing and deliverance from destruction in Jesus name Amen.
In this message I will begin about the Acts of the spiritual Christian in the order of the acronym ACTS:
A – ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
The Oxford languages defined acknowledgement as, “the acceptance of the truth or existence of something” and also as “recognition of the importance or quality of something”. I will pick two words from the above definition which are “acceptance” and “importance”.
•Acceptance
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth (Genesis 1:1)
Unlike the fool who says in his heart there is no God (Psalm 14:1) you believe and accept the truth that there is God and He is the Creator of all things both visible and invisible for as it is written The earth is the LORD’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein (Psalm 24:1) He is your Creator and my Creator for it is written that, Know ye that the LORD He is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture (Psalm 100:3).
• Importance
For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods (Psalm 95:3).
Our God is an unchanging God, though the world changes daily but God and His word does not change for as it is written For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed (Malachi 3:6). This is very important for it gives us confidence in the very fact that For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all generations (Psalm 100:5) For it is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not (Lamentation 3:22)
It is written that For the LORD your God is God of gods, and LORD of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward (Deuteronomy 10:17).
It is written that Now unto the eternal King, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen (1 Timothy 1:17) and until you acknowledge this fact you cannot and can never give God adoration.
The spiritual Christian acknowledges the truth that it is only God that is worthy to be worshiped and therefore like the twenty-four elders he worship Him that liveth for ever and for ever saying Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created (Revelation 4:11).
This brings us to the next part of this topic ADORATION which will be the next message God willingly . I want to make each message short and simple but clear and concise.
