THE CREATOR, COMFORTER AND CONSOLER PART 3: THE CONSOLER (EVENING)

Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus (Romans 15:5).

The dictionary of Oxford languages defines consolation as “The comfort received by a person after a loss or disappointment”.

God is the God of all comfort, but He is also the God of consolation, and this makes Him both a Comforter and Consoler. Jabez understood this and prayed “And that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me” (1 Chronicles 4:10). God consoles us in loss or in disappointment for in every disappointment there is a divine appointment.

Jesus Christ is the consolation of Israel (Luke 2:25) and as long as you are His then He is your Consoler for it is written that And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise (Galatians 3:29)

Whatever you have lost these past years I declare to you what is written, ” And the man of God answered, The LORD is able to give thee much more than this” (2 Chronicles 25:9) In the year 2025 by the tender mercies and abundant grace of God you will pursue, surely overtake them, and without fail recover all (1 Samuel 30:8)
