THE CREATOR, COMFORTER AND CONSOLER PART 2: THE COMFORTER (NOON)

THE CREATOR, COMFORTER AND CONSOLER PART 2: THE COMFORTER (NOON)

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3)
Our God is the God of all comfort.
✓ COMFORT
• C – Casting your cares upon Him (1 Peter 5:7).
When you cast all your cares upon Him you can testify that God comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God (2 Corinthians 1:4).
• O – Our Hope is in the LORD (Psalm 39:7)
Through God’s comfort in the past, you can say in the present that And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee for it is written And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us (Romans 5:5)
• M- May the God of peace be with you (Philippians 4:19).
God’s peace gives you rest, prosperity and pleasure through Jesus Christ the Prince of peace.
• F -Fear not (Isaiah 41:10)
Jesus comforts you with the words Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom (Luke 12:32) and again He says And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you for ever (John 14:16) and But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, He shall testify of me (John 15:26) .
Thank God that the Holy Spirit, the power of the Highest and the Investigator of every situation and circumstances, He is the Representative of the Godhead presently here on earth. He is the Comforter, and you should rejoice for it is written that For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost (Romans 14:17).
• O – Overcomer: (1 John 5:4)
Are you born again? Then you are an overcomer for in Jesus Christ fulness and victory is perfectly available for everyone that believes in Him. What a great comfort.
• R – Rest (Psalm 37:7)
The world cannot give you rest but, in the world, you will have tribulation (John 16:33) Are you of the world? Why not repent today and surrender your life to Jesus. Do you need rest? Come to Jesus, He says Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest (Mathew 11:28).
• T- Taste (Psalm 34:8)
As you taste, you will see that the LORD is good (Psalm 34:8) as you see you will testify ad tell of His goodness but why not open your mouth wide so that He will fill it (Psalm 81:10).
May God open your eyes that you may behold wondrous things out the Scriptures (Psalm 119:18)
May His word be your comfort in your affliction (Psalm 119:50) knowing that affliction shall not arise a second time (Nahum 1:9)
✓ Meditation
For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope (Romans 15:4)
