06 Dec DESTROYING THE WORKS OF THE DEVIL – PART 1
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8).
Many people both Saints and sinners, the righteous and the wicked, the rich and the poor celebrate Christmas do not know the reason for this celebration, but as we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ let us not forget the reason for the season for as it is written and ye know that He was manifested to take away our sins; and in Him is no sin (1 John 3:5).
Jesus was manifested to take our sins for it is written that And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call His name JESUS: for He shall save His people from their sins (Mathew 1:21) As long as you believe in Him you are His people for it is written that But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name (John 1:12) .Sin is terrible and whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law (1 John 3:4).

✓ Destroying The Works of the Devils
• CURSE
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree. (Galatians 3:13)
Therefore no curse past, present or future can affect you for it is written that Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross (Colossians 2:14)
• CONDEMNATION
Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. (Romans 8:34)
It is written that There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit (Romans 8:1)
Beloved as long as you are in Christ Jesus you are hundred percent safe and secure.
• CARNALITY
For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens. (Hebrews 7:26)
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God (Colossians 3:1-3)
Therefore think pure thoughts and not thoughts defile and distort your mind but purify yourself from every defilement of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God (2 Corinthians 7:1)
