✓What To Commit To God
•Your Way
Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass (Psalm 37:5).
The reason why you must commit your way to the LORD is because it is written that O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps (Jeremiah 10:23) for as it is written There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death (Proverbs 16:25).
It is only God that can show you the path of life (Psalm 16:11a).
•Your Work
Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established (Proverbs 16:3).
As you commit your work to the LORD be rest assured that He will bless all the work of your hand (Deuteronomy 28:12).
•Your Cause
I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause (Job 5:8).
That is why it is written Produce your cause, saith the Lord; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob (Isaiah 41:21), God is the Judge of all the earth (Genesis 18:25c) He is the righteous Judge (2 Timothy 4:8).
•Your Spirit
Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth (Psalm 31:5).
God is the one who gave the spirit and it shall return to Him (Ecclesiastes 12:7) so the best you can do today is to commit your spirit to Him so that He can sanctify you wholly and your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:23)
