THE DOOR

THE DOOR

I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture (John 10:9).

Jesus Christ is the exclusive gateway to salvation and spiritual abundance. He is the sole entry point to God and His kingdom, Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6). Like a shepherd’s gate protecting sheep, entering through Him brings salvation, safety, freedom from peril, provision of spiritual nourishment, liberty to thrive and lush pasture.

DOOR:

  • D – Declared Deliverance: Jesus promises deliverance to the captives, And there was delivered unto Him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, He found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised (Luke 4:17-18).
  • – Overflowing Promise: Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? (John 11:25-26).
  • – Open Invitation: Christ welcomes all who seek Him, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light (Mathew 11:28-30). The invitation is still valid today.
  • R – Radiant Renewal: Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost: Which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour (Titus 3:5-6).
