REDEEMED

REDEEMED

In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace (Ephesians 1:7).

I added the word “true” to “Christian” because Scripture commands: Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest… if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:8).Scripture declares plainly: Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot (1 Peter 1:18-19). Are you redeemed? Then Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom He hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy (Psalm 107:2). Your tongue can be your worst enemy or your best friend: Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof (Proverbs 18:21). God has redeemed you from your vain conversations and commands every believer, every true Christian: Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth (Ephesians 4:29). The first mark of redeemed and true Christians? They shall speak with new tongues (Mark 16:17). They obey the divine command: Let the weak say, I am strong (Joel 3:10). Instead of saying we be not able (Numbers 13:31) they say we are well able (Numbers 13:30). Instead of fear, they operate and speak by faith: We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak (2 Corinthians 4:13).Sickness is persona non grata in their lives, for the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity (Isaiah 33:24 ). They know: Who his own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed (1 Peter 2:24).
