01 Nov LIFE AND FAVOUR
Thou hast granted me life and favour, and Thy visitation hath preserved my spirit. (Job 10:12)
As we reflect on January through October 2025, brethren, I do not claim to have fully apprehended it all. Instead, I focus on one thing: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead. I press toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:13-14)
The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, and he accomplishes this through sin. But our Lord Jesus Christ came to destroy the works of the devil. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8)
This November is your month of favour and life. For his anger endureth but a moment, in His favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning (Psalm 30:5) Remember always that in God’s favour is life. I came that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (John 10:10) Furthermore, as it is written, Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come. (Psalm 102:13) Your set time of favour has arrived—behold, it is here and now.
Confession:
Thou hast granted me life and favour, and Thy visitation hath preserved my spirit. (Job 10:12)
