30 Dec THE LIGHT OF LIFE
In Him was life; and the life was the light of men (John 1:4)
Jesus Christ represents genuine life (Mathew 14:6), beyond mere physical existence, far more than just biological survival, providing redemption, regeneration and righteousness to everyone who receives Him. This life shines like a light, leading His followers out of spiritual blindness and sin, Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life (John 8:12). It illuminates believers (Hebrews 10:32), For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light (Ephesians 5:8). As a believer I want you to boldly declare to Him, For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light (Psalm 36:9). Wherefore He saith, awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light (Ephesians 5:14).
