THE FOUR REASONS FOR THE LAW (ENTIRE SCRIPTURES) OF GOD :NUMBER 4

THE FOUR REASONS FOR THE LAW (ENTIRE SCRIPTURES) OF GOD :NUMBER 4

TO OBSERVE TO DO ALL THE WORDS OF THE SCRIPTURES

When all Israel is come to appear before the LORD thy God in the place which He shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing. Gather the people together, men and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law (Deuteronomy 31: 11-12).

  1. The Necessity of Obeying All the Commandments

(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified (Romans 2:13).

As you hear the law you must also be willing and ready to obey all the law so that you can be blessed for it is written For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural) face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed (James 1:23-25)

Faith cometh by hearing the word of God but when you keep the whole law you are justified and blessed. This is a double portion

2. The Penalty of Half Obedience

For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all (James 2:10)

Therefore, you must obey God’s commandments fully, completely, accurately. It must be hundred percent obedience.

3. To Reward of The Obedience

  • For Your Good Always

And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day (Deuteronomy 6:24)

For your good always and for your preservation

  • Your Righteousness

And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the Lord our God, as he hath commanded us (Deuteronomy 6:25)

  • Wisdom and Understanding

Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people (Deuteronomy 4:6)

4.Conclusion

And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them (Deuteronomy 28:14)
