THE ACTS OF THE SPIRITUAL CHRISTIAN (Adoration: Worship)

Dearly Beloved May the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:23) in Jesus name Amen.
✓ Origin and Definition of Adoration
According to the Biblical encyclopedia the word adoration is derived from Latin adorare = (1) “to speak to”, (2) “to beseech,” “entreat” (3) “to do homage”, “to worship”; from the Latin, os (oris), mouth.
Adoration is intense admiration culminating in reverence and worship with the outward acts and attitudes which accompany such reverence.
In this message we will use the word worship since it means the same as adoration. I have decided to divide this message into two parts
(a) Worship
(b) The True Worshipper
✓ Worship
Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews (John 4:22)
It is written that Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him (Isaiah 43:7).
The Scripture says that salvation is of the Jews and again it is written that Salvation is of the LORD (Jonah 2:9) and there is no contradiction between the above two Scriptures that “salvation is of the Jews and salvation is of the LORD because the acronym of the word, “Jews” simply means
JEWS:
• J – Jesus
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:9-11)
• E – Eternal Life
And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent (John 17:3)
• W – Wisdom
But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption. That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. (1 Corinthians 1:30-31)
• S – Saviour
Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:10-12)
